[less jarring of the headache. Erik grunts quietly, twisting a little to bury his face in the pillow.]

[ he can't help the wince ]

[that's okay, he can't see it.]

[ whimpers slightly, pulling away ]

[oof. he shifts again, opening his eyes slightly.]

Charles?

It's fine.

[ he sighs, getting up slightly and digs his fingers into his temple ]

[he moves onto his back, and drops his arm over his eyes.]

We may need to reconsider how much we drink.

[ he laughs slightly ]

Yes. Perhaps we should.

Do you want me to get you a wet cloth...?

No, I'll be fine. I'm sure it'll pass.

Mmm. Yes.

How are you feeling?

Awful. I'm not sure why that's a question.

[moves his hand enough to look at him with one eye]

No... I imagine you've got it worse, because you can feel my headache along with yours.

[reaches up and covers the hand Charles's is rubbing his temple with with his own hand.]

[ he stills, surprised ]

[he leaves it like that for a few moments before pulling away.]
